The client’s existing merchandise bins weren't holding up in the store environment. These bins were constructed of corrugated cardboard. Daily cleaning along with absorbed moisture from the bin contents caused the bins to fail structurally. The merchandise bins had become an eyesore and a problem.

​Quantum redesigned the merchandise bin using Coroplast, a proven weatherproof plastic that stands up to mopping, moisture, and routine cleaning. Bin construction was optimized to ensure stability and ease of assembly. Our CAD and production teams prototyped, adjusted, tested, and perfected the newly designed bins before rollout. Each bin ships pre-folded and taped for easy assembly. The bins are packaged in a custom shipping carton for maximum protection, designed to avoid oversized shipping fees and allow for efficient handling at distribution centers.

The client appreciated our thoughtful design process and is pleased with the performance of these bins in stores. These bins are now the preferred option for merchandise display in high moisture environments.
